In its latest issue, Advantage Magazine portrays Ginette Mailhot, a 2014 EMBA McGill-HEC Montréal alumna, who, at age 26 began helping her father, who was an insurance broker. She subsequently got her license and worked her way up from broker to manager to shareholder to president of la turquoise, one of the 10 largest damage-insurance brokerages in Québec. When talking about her background, she says: “It’s all about passion. I always wanted to learn more and be better than I was yesterday. I’m 50 now, and I still have objectives, dreams I want to make come true.”

A dream that recently came true was the completion of her EMBA.

Ginette Mailhot, like her classmates, worked full-time while simultaneously completing the McGill-HEC Montréal Executive MBA program. “I had close to no personal life for 15 months, but I proudly received my degree in May 2014.”
