On September 10th, the new EMBA McGill-HEC Montréal cohort, made up of 44 leaders, managers and entrepreneurs met for the first time. Once the feeling of being an imposter was slightly eased, the presentations were made, and the first words and laughs were shared, the energy in the class was palpable. Already, it was clear: this group is unique.

Besides the energy level, the group’s diversity certainly contributes to its uniqueness. These new EMBA participants come from 21 different industries. The class is 36% women and 18% entrepreneurs. 44% of the participants speak three languages ​​or more. With an average age of 41 years, an average of 17 years of work experience and 12 years as managers, we have no doubt that, at the end of the program, they will all have benefited from the 750 years of cumulative experience in their class.
