Guillaume Lavoie who graduated from the McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA program this past spring, has gotten his second vote of confidence from his firm since starting the EMBA. In 2015, while he was studying, he was promoted to partner at Lavery, the well-know Quebec law firm in Quebec, where he has worked since 2007. And now, he has recently been appointed to the firm’s board of directors.
“I definitely believe that the EMBA has had a major role in my appointment to the board. Thanks to the program, I have evolved my managerial skills and I’ve played a much more active role in the management of the firm and this certainly had an impact on my partners’ decision to elect me to the board of directors at such a young age,” explains Guillaume.
