Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ) recently announced the new composition of its board of directors. Martin Carrier, Head of studio and founder of Warner Brothers Games Montréal, who graduated from the McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA program last spring, has been appointed as Chairman.

“I am pleased to join BAnQ’s Board of Directors and to be able to help promoting not only our libraries, but also our archives. Today, technology offers us a new way to support and broadcast the knowledge residing in our libraries. I look forward to helping BAnQ in asserting its leadership role in this area, “said Martin in an official press release.

Martin also acts as president of the Digital Alliance, the Quebec network for new media and interactive digital content. His extensive knowledge of the digital and gaming industry will enable him to contribute to one of the objectives of the BAnQ – digital literacy.
