The McGill – HEC Montréal EMBA program aims to reduce the distance between the classroom and the organization, and between the classroom and the business community. The advisory board, launched in 2015, fits with this philosophy and helps to ensure that the program continues to stay connected to the realities faced by today’s business leaders.

Recently, as part of its increased focus on communication skills the EMBA has enlisted the help of its Board members.   Board members will provide feedback on executive summaries that participants include with their impact papers – the capstone work submitted at the end of modules.  . This “real world” feedback will help participants synthesize their ideas and write impactful executive summaries. This ability to communicate effectively is crucial ingredient to being able to turn ideas into action.
