Marco De Tavira (EMBA 2019*), who is currently in the final stages of paper writing for the EMBA program, has taken on a new role as Performance and Business Transformation Manager, within the Post Merger Integration (PMI) group at Airbus. He will be working on the transformation activities following the closing of the deal between Airbus, Bombardier and Investissement Québec in which Airbus acquired a majority stake of CSALP (C Series Aircraft Limited Partnership), which happened on July 1st 2018.
He is very excited about this new challenge as it will give him the opportunity to further develop the skills he has learnt throughout his time at the McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA program. He also shares that it will enable him to further his experience in Mergers and Acquisitions – as this is the third time that he is part of a PMI team following an acquisition.
* Marco started the EMBA program in September 2017 and is expected to graduate in the spring of 2019.
