Pierre Choquette, a 2013 McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA graduate, has recently accepted the role of Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs at Société de développement Angus.

The Société de développement Angus is very pleased to welcome Mr. Pierre Choquette to lead our Communications and Public Affairs. Thanks to his expertise, he will instill a strategic and dynamic vision for the organization.

Mr. Choquette, in recent years, has held strategic roles in major private and governmental organizations. He has served as a Press Secretary to several ministers, including the ministers of Natural Resources, Economic Development and Finance. He was also the Communications Advisor for the office of the Premier of Quebec. Mr. Choquette has also served as Senior Director, Public Affairs – Canada for AbitibiBowater, where he led all the relationships with the Quebec government during the company’s restructuring and he also acted as their spokesperson. Most recently he served as Vice-President at Edelman, the world’s largest independent marketing communications agency.
