Pascal Larose, EMBA 2018, is promoted to Vice President, Operations of the Société des traversiers du Québec (STQ). Just a few months after joining the STQ as Director of Organizational Transformation, Pascal Larose has received his second promotion.  After leaving the Canadian Army early 2019, Pascal joined the STQ as Director of Organizational Transformation and was later promoted to Senior Director. As Vice President, Operations, Pascal will now be responsible for the operations of all crossings and services which are operated by the STQ located along the St-Lawrence River, from Montréal up to the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Pascal, who was voted amongst the Best & Brightest EMBAs for 2018 by Poets & Quants’, believes that the EMBA gave him the tools, the skills, the network, the confidence and the knowledge in order to move towards a second career following his 22 years in the Canadian Armed Forces. The organisational transformation of the STQ is what attracted Pascal. He will now go back and work in his area of expertise: operations and exploitation. Like all STQ employees, Pascal believes that STQ can and should become the model of a successful and innovative company, which will play an important role in the future of Quebec’s public and maritime transportation.

We wish him well in this new career and challenge!
