“My sister and I launched our very first online shop last week. What turned out as a hobby is now becoming a full time gig,” explained current McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA participant Jillian Ruiz.

In response to the current COVID-19 crisis, the sisters founded Masque & Co. in order to provide adults and children protective, affordable, but also fashionable masks. The masks are made according to Public Health and CDC recommendations (with two layers of 100% cotton and a filter insert for added protection).

“We really wanted to help our local community and my sister who is a nurse and educator is spending her down time to hand-sew masks. I just happen to help push her idea that is now turning into a business! How exciting.”

Because they believe that “it takes a village to keep our families and communities safe”, they have decided to give 100% of their profits to Centraide.
