The 30 finalists for the Prix Femmes d’affaires du Québec 2017 (2017 Quebec Business Women’s Award) were unveiled recently. One of the finalists is Ève Laurier, who is a 2011 McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA alumna. Ms. Laurier is the Ge at Edelman, a family-owned, independent communications marketing agency that helps companies evolve, promote and protect their brands and reputations. The finalists will be honored on November 8th at a gala during which the winner of each of the nine contest categories will be announced. In past editions of the contest, Danièle Bergeron and Louise Richer, both McGill – HEC Montréal EMBA alumnae, were selected as a finalist for this award. Pascal Lépine (EMBA 2012) joins the Board of Imagine Canada

  Pascal Lépine (EMBA 2012) was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of Imagine Canada. Imagine Canada is a national charitable organization whose mission is to strengthen and support Canadian charities and nonprofits so they may better serve and engage individuals and communities here and around the world. This is a great mark of respect for the work Pascal and his company are doing for the development of community and non-profit organizations in Quebec. Pascal Lépine is the founder and president of Atypic, an advertising agency. After completing his final paper for the EMBA program on communityship, Pascal decided to dedicate his business exclusively to working for organizations in the plural sector. The transformation has been an amazing success.  It took courage to turn away lots of business not related to his new focus, but Pascal and Atypic have never looked back.

Isabelle Gratton (EMBA 2011) announces the creation of Quartier Général

Isabelle Gratton, president of PMT Postproduction and a 2011 EMBA McGill-HEC Montréal graduate, recently announced the creation of Quartier Général, a new production company for commercials and branded content. "This project is born out of a desire to do things differently, to work with a smaller, more agile and more available team and, which is above all, ready to work closely with agencies and clients. In a changing market, offering a personalized service with more direct relations between creation and realization makes it possible to produce better content and to create synergy needed in advertising messages conception" explains the official press release.
