Courte biographie

Over the past 20 years, Amy has built her career in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on improving patient outcomes in mental health, oncology, and infectious diseases. Today, leading the Women’s Health business unit at Organon Canada, she works to support women through important stages of their life journey, including contraception, fertility, and menopause.

Before joining Organon, Amy held management roles in marketing, digital transformation, information technology, and commercial operations. While she loves innovation and creativity, her true passion is in leadership. She believes in fostering a strong, positive, and fun culture where employees can bring their authentic selves to work, collaborate, experiment, learn, and grow.

Amy cherishes time spent with her husband, George, and their two children, Christopher and Sapphira. She enjoys running and yoga and can often be found at her son’s soccer matches, practicing martial arts with her daughter or skiing with the family.

De quelle réalisation êtes-vous le plus fier(ère) dans votre carrière professionnelle ?

Being a founding member responsible for standing up Organon Canada, a new company focused on Women’s Health, has been the biggest highlight of my career. There is something extraordinary about creating an organization with a vision of a better and healthier every day for every woman, founded on a culture of accountability, collaboration, entrepreneurialism, passion, and inclusivity, in a space historically lacking focus, research, education and innovation.

Pourquoi avez-vous choisi d’entreprendre le programme EMBA de McGill-HEC Montréal?

  • After much research into similar university programs, I undertook my EMBA program at McGill-HEC Montréal. The work-education balance, intense yet relevant program structure, cohort diversity, and global focus offered by these two renowned universities made selecting the McGill-HEC Montréal Executive MBA program obvious!

Quel a été l’impact du programme EMBA sur vous et votre carrière?

  • The McGill-HEC Montréal Executive MBA program has impacted me and my career in many ways. Throughout the program, I leveraged each module and applied the learnings and deliverables to different challenges I faced in my professional setting. Additionally, I was able to frame my final paper to support my career aspirations, utilizing the research and findings to better prepare me for the next phase in my career journey. Finally, my research findings have led to a new corporate program, currently in development, focused on supporting women throughout all stages of their life-career journey, removing unconscious biases, infusing management education, and helping women achieve the career aspirations they want and deserve.
