Attelé_Christophe_opt (1)Christophe Attelé, a 2015 McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA graduate, has been appointed to Vice President Service Specials at Nurun Montreal, a consultation agency in digital innovation, service design, and technology.

In his new role, Christophe will be responsible for business development strategy and managing client services. He will also be in charge of enforcing the Human Centric approach, which places the needs and behaviours of users at the core of the digital ecosystem and is central to Nurun’s offer.

His numerous years of experience at the head of the Publicis Caribead agency, made him the perfect candidate for this position. In addition to his experience, he credits the EMBA McGill-HEC Montréal for playing an important role. “While the overall approach of the EMBA enriched my knowledge, modules on innovation, strategy and value creation have been particularly important. The learning mode that relies on cross reflection and an exchange of experience was fundamental. The permanent self-reflection as well as the reflection on projects, self-evolution, and practices, conducted throughout the program really helped me prepare for the future, he says.

[Through the program] I also had the opportunity to step back on the evolution of communication agencies and the convergence of the so-called digital agencies that are now part of traditional agencies. The customer experience is transversal and cannot be segmented. These fifteen months have prepared me to make this career change.”

Finally, as a French citizen who had a career in the Caribbean, this new role in Montreal has also a particular link to the program because it allowed him to integrate the Montreal community and understand its ecosystem. “First of all, thanks to the high quality of [the EMBA] participants and their openness, then, by analyzing the local business issues and practices, the EMBA helped me to absorb the Quebec and Canadian economic culture.”
