Josée Duplessis, a recent McGill-HEC Montreal EMBA graduate, has recently been appointed Chief of Staff for the Federal Minister of Families, Children and Social Development. As chief of staff, Josée leads other employees of the cabinet and assists the Minister, the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, in all his functions.
According to the mandate letter for the Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, the overarching goal of the Ministry is to “increase Canadians’ economic and social security” in order to make sure that all Canadian children have a real and fair chance to succeed, and all Canadians are able to live with dignity.
