Just over five years after completing the McGill-HEC Montréal Executive MBA program, Jose Chagnon (EMBA 2011) is taking on the role of General Manager at Van Houtte Coffee Services Canada, a division of Keurig. Van Houtte Coffee Services Canada is a leading provider of coffee services solutions in Canada, with 33 branches across the country, combining roasting traditions, services and technologies.
Jose began the EMBA with several years of experience in operations management. Following his graduation, he turned to more strategic roles, including, Director of SAQ International and Sales Director at SAQ (Société des alcools du Québec).
“In my new role, I will be able to draw on my experience as we transform the business and value creation models of Van Houtte Coffee Services Canada.” said Jose. He also thinks that the EMBA will be of great use in his mandate at Van Houtte, “The EMBA helped me to develop my strategic thinking and my overall business vision, thanks to its pedagogical approach, which draws on both plenary discussions with experienced classmates and the insights of the distinguished professors that deliver the program’s modules.”
