Philippe Ouimette, a 2014 McGill-HEC Montréal Executive MBA graduate, was recently appointed as Country Manager, Oceania Region for Genetec, which means a move to Australia. Philippe started working at Genetec, a provider of open architecture, unified IP security solutions, a few months after completing his EMBA. In this new role, Philippe will be responsible for developing sales & operations strategies in the region to further increase Genetec’s reach in the growing Australian and New Zealand markets, recruiting and building the Genetec team in key countries, and expanding the company’s network of certified partners.
In a recent official press release, Philippe expressed how excited he was by this new challenge: “Working for a globally recognized, technology leader like Genetec, I’ve been able to learn about and recognize regional differences and drivers that will benefit the growing Oceania market,” said Ouimette. “The security market in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands is growing at an exponential rate and it is an exciting time to work together with Hills Australia
