Claire Hayek (EMBA 2015) joins Artisti’s Board
Claire Hayek, a McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA graduate, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Artisti. Artisti is an organization created by Quebec’s Union des artistes in 1997 to collectively manage and distribute the royalties owed to performers under the Copyright Act. Artisti brings together nearly 4000 artists.
“This is such an honor, I’m absolutely ecstatic, explained Claire. Artisti’s board is made up of renowned Quebec music artists, including the well-known France d’Amour, Annie Villeneuve and Florence K, with whom I will have the chance to work on issues that are very important to me. What I will bring to the discussion is the representation of lesser-known, self-producing artists, as well as my business skills, developed through the EMBA. “
