Over the last ten years, the EMBA McGill-HEC Montréal directors have always paid particular attention to the content, structure and learning activities of the program so that it remains as relevant as possible to the experienced leaders from various backgrounds who enroll in the program.
In consultation with participants, graduates and the broader business community, the program has integrated several innovative elements into the EMBA learning pathway over the years.
Here are the most recent additions to the program:
The program held two friendly consulting sessions for the first time last year. Some participants suggested an issue they were facing in their organization. In a small group of 5-6 people, assisted by a proven problem-solving / consultation method, participants acted as consultants to their classmates.
In September 2017 and September 2018, the McGill – HEC Montréal Executive MBA awarded four admission scholarships of CAD$ 50,000 to candidates who are managers in non-profit organizations, or managers of indigenous origin. This doubles the number of scholarships available to candidates from these two groups, and helps ensure a diversity of perspective in the program.
These scholarships are aimed at managers who already have a significant impact in their respective communities and in society in general. We hope that the program gives them the tools, the network and the confidence to significantly increase this positive influence.
