Cynthia Pasztor has had a busy fall.  While she was writing her capstone paper for the EMBA Program (she’s expected to graduate this spring), she also took on a big challenge: Director, Strategic Procurement at Air Canada.  Cynthia’s career at Air Canada spans 23 years. Prior to her promotion, she was the General Manager Component Maintenance – ACM.

The corporate announcement explained that Cynthia will lead a team responsible for the worldwide procurement activities for the In-Flight Catering and Products category.  She will also be accountable for driving and implementing tailored strategic sourcing strategies to create cost savings, managing demand for external vendor resources and influencing positive change in purchasing behavior at all levels of management throughout the organization.
