Patrick Parent, a current participant in the McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA, has been named President and CEO of Alcool NB Liquor (ANBL) and Cannabis NB (CNB), two corporations that jointly represent a revenue of $ 450 million.

Patrick shares that with his diverse experience in several industries and provinces, he has had the opportunity to acquire varied and global knowledge. In the last thirteen years, he has held positions in the field of alcoholic beverages and most recently, he served as vice-president of operations and human resources at Moosehead Breweries, where he has held a number of senior positions since 2006. He believes his new position at ANBL and CNB is a natural evolution. His extensive experience also includes profit and loss management, sales and marketing, retail management and customer experience in industries such as banking, energy and the beverage sector.

“The EMBA program greatly enhanced this global perspective and provided me with essential tools to deal with today’s strategic issues, but more importantly those of tomorrow,” Patrick noted.

ANBL is a provincial Crown corporation responsible for the purchase, importation, distribution and retail activity for all alcoholic beverages in the province. The company plays an important economic role for the province as well as a governance role for both the sale and distribution of products, but also for the health and safety of its consumers.

* Patrick started the EMBA program in September 2018 and is expected to graduate in the spring of 2020.
