Annie Fredette (EMBA 2015), has recently embarked on her new challenge as Manager, Corporate Strategy Development at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). Her role is to lead a team of Project Managers and Change Managers who are supporting projects and initiatives across the organization. Her main mandate right now, as part of the Corporate Strategy Development Team, is coming up with an effective framework to support strategy execution, which was the focus on her final assignment while at EMBA program. She states that this is a great role as it will help her get a good grasp of what’s happening across the organization while allowing her to establish her internal network.

CMHC’s aspiration is for “everyone in Canada to have a house they can afford and that meets their needs by 2030”. It is this inspiring aspiration that drew Annie to the organization, as she wants to continue to lead with purpose for this next chapter of her career.  In addition, CMHC has implemented a ROWE culture (goROWE.com), supported by technology and physical space transformations. ROWE – Results Only Work Environment, is a human resource management strategy wherein employees are paid for results (output) rather than the number of hours worked.
