Laurent Vivier, a recent McGill-HEC Montreal EMBA alumnus, was appointed by the Quebec Mining Association to the board of directors of the Association paritaire pour la santé et la sécurité du travail du secteur minier (APSM).

Laurent Vivier Executive MBA McGill HEC MontréalLaurent has more than 20 years of experience in operations management. In 2011, he joined the Raglan Mine team as Superintendent – Maintenance and was appointed Director – Risk, Prevention and Environment in February 2019.

The notice of appointment describes Laurent and his new role:

“Known for his pragmatism and his understanding of the workers reality, Laurent Vivier plays an active role at the level of the health and safety committee of Raglan Mine, as representative of the employer and will now sit on the board of directors of the APSM for the employer side.”
