National Bank recently announced the appointment of Julie Lévesque, a 2016 McGill-HEC Montreal EMBA alumna, as Executive Vice-President – Information Technology.

At the time of her appointment, Julie was acting as Senior Vice-President – IT Delivery Strategy at National Bank. She has over 25 years of experience in the IT field and over 15 in the financial sector. She has held various executive roles in IT at National Bank and at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.

Her skills and knowledge of corporate IT environments and infrastructure make her ideally suited for this leadership role.”

Julie believes that this new step in her career is not unrelated to what she learned at the EMBA:

“The McGill – HEC EMBA is taylored for working executives, as it puts their professional experience to use in the learning process. The program also enables us to use our natural strengths as stepping stones for the development of our leadership style in accordance with our values. Mine is based on trust, complicity and interdisciplinarity.”
