The Société québécoise du cannabis (SQDC) has announced the appointment of Paul Furfaro as Acting President and Chief Executive Officer following the departure of Jean-François Bergeron to head Loto-Québec.
Paul Furfaro joined the SQDC in January 2018 and has held the position of Director, Store Operations since November of the same year. He had a ringside seat when the store network bagan operations on October 17, 2018. Before joining the SQDC, Mr. Furfaro spent a dozen years working for a multinational in Canada and the United Kingdom, where he held management positions in digital marketing, business development, price strategy and brand development.
