Louise Bourassa, a 2019 McGill-HEC Montreal EMBA alumna, joined Riau Canada Inc. as Director of Operations and Marketing.

Riau is a social impact enterprise offering high quality hand poured candles that celebrate elegant scents from the Riau Islands. They use ethically created high quality ingredients and fair trade techniques in all of our candles. Eco-friendly, made from 100% soy wax and vegan fragrances. Riau’s mission is to help individuals “bounce back with honour”. Riau is partnering with organizations to hire employees who have fallen on difficult times and are starting to reintegrate into the work force. Part of Riau’s profits will also be earmarked for reintegration counseling services in homeless shelters and other organizations.
