Dany El Eid, a 2021 McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA alumnus, recently joined Adverity as Director – North America to help with expansion efforts across Canada & the US following a Series D investment from Softbank Venture Fund. Dany was Adverity’s client during his tenure as VP of Data & Technology at iProspect (a dentsu company) where he selected Adverity for its market leading ETL and advanced analytics engine. Dany became so enthralled with the product, the people, and the culture at Adverity that he made it his mission to join the company in Q4 2021.

“Coming from a tech and entrepreneurial background, I knew that I eventually wanted to return to a tech focused scale up once I had completed my EMBA program. The McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA program allowed me to better evaluate companies and be more discerning of the criteria I should pay attention to. The fact that it covers all aspects of a business, whether tangible or intangible, allowed me to have a more holistic understanding of what distinguishes good companies from great ones. It gave me the confidence and determination that I needed to tackle issues from the ground all the way up to a 10,000 feet strategic level. In addition, it gave me solid frameworks that I could use in a highly practical matter which provides a lot of added value very quickly to stakeholders that I interact with. Et d’ailleurs, l’EMBA m’a ouvert les yeux sur le fait que je devais “Rêver mieux!”
