Joe Argento, a 2016 McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA alumnus, has recently been appointed to the position of Vice-President, Project and Development Services at Canderel. Montreal-based Canderel has been part of Canada’s real estate landscape for over 45 years. Their 600 real estate professionals handle over $15 billion in acquisitions, developments and management projects. That translates to over 60 million square feet of owned, managed and developed properties.

“I am integrating the Canderel team at an exciting time. The recent announcement of the Cominar transaction will certainly expose our group to many opportunities and challenges.

At Canderel, I will be heading a team of project managers affected to various projects under management while seeking new opportunities.

Active involvement will be key with with leasing, operations and development activities while trying to deal with change management of the various cultures coming together.

As we stated during one of our EMBA morning reflections, “Remember that you are always on stage” and your actions need to be in line with your values. If it’s not good for you, it should not be good for anyone else. That is something that I always keep in mind, and that will certainly be useful in my new role at Canderel.”
