Jean-François RenaudJean-François Renaud, a McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA 2022 alumnus and founding president of the Concertium agency, was elected by his peers to the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association québécoise de l’industrie du disque, du spectacle et de la vidéo (ADISQ).

In the official press release announcing his appointment, Jean-François shared:

“I approach my mandate as Chairman of the Board of ADISQ from the perspective of the collective well-being of our industry. Producers, artists, artisans, broadcasters, classical or popular musicians, established or up-and-coming, comedians, from diverse backgrounds and First Nations, now is the time to look ahead, to build the future, to innovate, to listen and adapt.”

Jean-François Renaud and the Concertium agency have won the Félix for Entertainment Agency of the Year six times in a row at the ADISQ Industry Gala. Jean-François has an in-depth knowledge of his industry. In fact, before starting his own business, he  worked at other industry leaders including Donald K Donald, Generation, IMC/Barry Garber and  at Équipe Spectra, where he was sales director. He holds a BAA in finance from HEC Montréal and a McGill-HEC Montréal Executive MBA. He believes that the EMBA program will be useful to him in this new challenge:

“My field has been greatly disrupted by technological changes as well as the pandemic, which has increased friction between the parties involved. The notions acquired during the Collaborative Mindset will certainly be invaluable to me in carrying out my mandate.”
