This year, the EMBA McGill-HEC Montr\u00e9al is awarding two scholarships of $ 50,000 each to two managers of non-profit organizations: Ms. Lai-Ling Lee Rodriguez, Director, Americas at the Canadian Red Cross<\/a><\/span> and Mr. Mark Gillespie, creative director and General Manager of YOA Orchestra of the Americas<\/a><\/span>, an orchestra of talented young musicians, aged 18-30 years, from 26 countries.<\/p>\n <\/a>With over twenty years of experience in the field of non-profit organizations, Ms. Lee Rodriguez will demystify the unique structure and specific mandate of humanitarian organizations such as the Red Cross for her future classmates. She chose to undertake the McGill-HEC Montr\u00e9al EMBA program in order to update her knowledge of theories, tools and management concepts. She also has some specific objectives \u201cI believe that the EMBA would provide me with better insight and better understanding of the challenges faced by peers working in the private sector. The Mintzberg approach offered by the McGill-HEC Montr\u00e9al EMBA appeals to me knowing that in most of my work environments, not enough time and importance is given to reflection and analysis.\u201d<\/p>\n
