The McGill \u2013 HEC Montr\u00e9al EMBA program aims to reduce the distance between the classroom and the organization, and between the classroom and the business community. The advisory board<\/a>, launched in 2015, fits with this philosophy and helps to ensure that the program continues to stay connected to the realities faced by today\u2019s business leaders.<\/p>\n

Recently, as part of its increased focus on communication skills the EMBA has enlisted the help of its Board members.\u00a0 \u00a0Board members will provide feedback on executive summaries that participants include with their impact papers \u2013 the capstone work submitted at the end of modules.\u00a0 . This \u201creal world\u201d feedback will help participants synthesize their ideas and write impactful executive summaries. This ability to communicate effectively is crucial ingredient to being able to turn ideas into action.<\/p>\n

Recently, Robert Dutton, adjunct professor at HEC Montr\u00e9al and former CEO of Rona, took over as Chair of the board, and over the past two meetings, the EMBA Advisory Board has welcomed four new members:<\/p>\n
