They thought I would be a good fit due to my business and music background as well as my EMBA. They also thought it would be great to have an artist on the Re:Sound board as the latter is composed of music business leaders from collection rights societies, major labels and independent labels such as MROC, SOPROC, ACTRA RACS, CIMA (more details <a href=\"http:\/\/www.resound.ca\/what-we-do\/people\/\">here<\/a>). I will bring the artist\u2019s input to big decisions made in music licensing in Canada,\u201d says Claire.<\/p>\n<p>Re:Sound is the Canadian not-for-profit music licensing company dedicated to obtaining fair compensation for artists and record companies for their performance rights.
