He joined the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) in 2014, and was recently promoted to the position of Chief Sport Officer.<\/p>\n<p>In an article published on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rds.ca\">RDS.ca<\/a>, a sports broadcaster\u2019s website, the author describes how Eric has already &#8220;inspired his team with his great passion for sport and its mobilizing role in society.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Eric commented on the 2015 COC crisis, which resulted in a major cultural change for the organization.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are a high performance organization and we have a vital role to play in the Canadian society: to unite and support young people in their dreams and passions.
