His responsibility is in ensuring that all of their employees keep this objective at the forefront of their minds on a daily basis and that they deliver what they promise.\u00a0 He continues by saying that it is important, as a Canadian shortline, to prove to all their stakeholders (including the customers and the communities through which they operate), that railways are not a thing of the past, but are in fact the way of the future.<\/p>\n<p>As he looks back on his time in the EMBA McGill-HEC Montr\u00e9al, he states \u2018The program taught me first and foremost the importance of reflection &#8211; both personal and\u00a0professional.\u00a0 By taking more time to\u00a0reflect, I have become much less reactionary and much more strategic\u00a0in my management style.
