Jason Taylor, who is part of this year\u2019s EMBA McGill-HEC Montr\u00e9al graduating class, has recently been promoted to Head Government Sustainable Finance at Scotiabank, Global Banking and Markets<\/a>.<\/p>\n Jason is moving into Government Finance, with a dual mandate. He will be covering the Province of Qu\u00e9bec, Hydro-Qu\u00e9bec, and the City of Montr\u00e9al on capital markets activities and head the Government Sustainable Finance business at Scotia Bank.<\/p>\n Jason has a profound interest for sustainable finance, which really came to the fore during the EMBA program\u2019s module on sustainability. In this second part of his mandate, Jason will work closely with the current government finance team to speak to government issuers across Canada on funding opportunities and market trends in the sustainable finance space.\u00a0 Jason has spent much time working with the Bank as it looks to grow its sustainable finance footprint.<\/p>\n
