To date, these patrons have been : Paul Desmarais Jr., Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Power Corporation and Co-Chairman of Power Financial, Thierry Vandal, President and Chief Executive Officer, Hydro-Qu\u00e9bec, Serge Godin, Founder and Executive Chairman of the Board, CGI, Monique Leroux, Chair of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Desjardins Group, Bob Swidler, President, J. Robert Swidler & Associates and Laurent Lapierre, renowned leadership author.<\/p>\n
Louis R. Ch\u00eanevert was elected Chief Executive Officer of United Technologies Corporation in April 2008 and Chairman in January 2010. He also served as President, Pratt & Whitney, from April 1999 through March 2006.<\/p>\n
Mr. Ch\u00eanevert earned a bachelor of commerce degree in production management from HEC Montreal. He is Chairman of HEC Montreal\u2019s International Advisory Board and a founding director and Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Friends of HEC Montreal. He also received a doctorate honoris causa from HEC Montreal in May 2010.<\/p>\n
