The advisory board, under the Chairmanship of Thierry Vandal, CEO of Hydro Qu\u00e9bec, is composed of 14 senior business leaders, including 5 program alumni. Its role is to guide the strategic direction of the program.<\/p>\n<p>Alain Pinsonneault, co-director of the EMBA McGill-HEC Montr\u00e9al and professor at McGill University explains: \u201cThe creation of an advisory board is an important step for our program. It will ensure that our program stays relevant, at the forefront of executive education, and innovative \u2013 all of which are very important in the competitive executive education market.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are privileged to have these distinguished individuals and management experts on our Advisory Board.\u00a0 Their expertise, new ideas and insights will be particularly useful and will benefit the program and its future,\u201d adds Louis H\u00e9bert, co-director of the EMBA McGill-HEC Montr\u00e9al program and professor at HEC Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n<p>The McGill \u2013 HEC Montr\u00e9al EMBA program aims to reduce the distance between the classroom and the organization, and between the classroom and the business community. It is an MBA program for seasoned managers who continue working while they participate in the 15 month program. The program welcomes approximately forty participants annually with an average of 18 years of work experience and 11 years in a managerial position. \u00a0Classes typically meet Thursday through Sunday, once a month. Reflecting the reality of Canadian business, the program is delivered in a bilingual format.
