Despite the amount of time CEOs spend in the spotlight, the role of the CEO remains largely mysterious. The book, Paroles de PDG <\/em>(Rogers Publishing), aims to change that. Based on one hundred and fifty hours of interviews with seventy-five senior leaders of the Quebec Circle of Presidents, the book is not intended to be a CEO\u2019s biography nor a list of CEOs\u2019 best practices. Instead, it focuses on Quebec\u2019s CEOs and examines the role of the CEO across three dimensions: the person, the job and the relationships. Louis H\u00e9bert, co-director of the EMBA McGill-HEC Montr\u00e9al, and his co-authors, HEC Professors R\u00e9al Jacob, Alain Gosselin, Eric Brunelle and Roman Oryschuk launched the book in early November with the goal of drawing a portrait of the CEO\u2019s reality, in order to encourage the emergence of the next generation of business leaders.<\/p>\n
