To ensure we \u201cpractice what we preach\u201d, we are seeking to have the module classified as a<a href=\"http:\/\/evenementecoresponsable.com\/en\/normes\/\"> level 4 eco-friendly event<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/evenementecoresponsable.com\/en\/normes\/\">Standard BNQ 9700-253<\/a>). After last year\u2019s successful level 3 classification, we are excited to aim for an even greener module this year. This entails a review of the event\u2019s associated waste management, energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions from transportation, supplier practices and food selection. The classification process scores the event on sustainable practices and provides suggestions for improvement. The process and experience will be shared with all EMBA participants and staff, to better equip them to plan future sustainable activities.
