Courte biographie

Having worked almost 2 decades in the construction industry (electricity) through different roles, all while pursuing a personal goal for higher education, I have gained a large understanding of the technical and business requirements to be productive in the industry.  With the knowledge acquired during my EMBA, I am pursuing my professional goal of doing things differently in the construction industry through a mindset of value creation, innovation and with a more industrialized approach.

Quel a été l’impact du programme EMBA sur vous et votre carrière?

The EMBA program allowed me to think differently and position myself differently with my peers in my organization.  Having an innovative and value-creating mindset allowed me to stand out and perform at a higher level.

Pourquoi avez-vous choisi d’entreprendre le programme EMBA de McGill-HEC Montréal?

I was looking for bring my professional career to a whole new level.  Already having a bachelor’s in business could have been enough to pursue my career, but I was looking for additional tools to be able to be a difference maker in my organization.  I choose the EMBA at McGIll-HEC Montréal because I wanted to be surrounded with the best liked-minded professionals looking for that same change.

Qu’avez-vous le plus apprécié de votre expérience EMBA en général?

The conversation with the other peers is the most rewarding part of the program.  As you learn everyone’s different industries, you learn that all are having the same challenges.  There is a great amount of knowledge that is shared to allow us to think differently in approaching problems.

Quels conseils donneriez-vous à quelqu’un qui considère se lancer dans l’aventure EMBA?

Everybody suffers from the “imposter syndrome”, you are not the only one.  Jump right in and start building your network on the first day and develop those long-lasting relationships.
