In her article entitled «MBA: Enrichissant à tous points de vue», published in May in Les affaires plus, author Nathalie Vallerand discusses why professionals decide to embark on an MBA and analyzes what they get out of it. In discussing the Executive MBA (EMBA), which is aimed at more experienced managers, she cites the example of Geneviève Rossier, editorial director and editor of Coup de Pouce magazine and a 2012 EMBA McGill HEC Montreal alumna:

[she was General Manager, Internet and Digital Services at CBC Radio-Canada at the time] and was responsible for nearly 150 employees. Rather, in a context where the Internet shift required a reflection on business models, this former reporter wanted to enrich her perspective, and interact with and learn from executives from various backgrounds.  With these objectives in mind, she believes that her degree was well worth the investment. “I improved my analytical abilities and I have a greater understanding of the different dynamics at play in a company. I am more effective at work, and therefore, much more serene. ” »
