Eric Boucher, a 2018 EMBA McGill-HEC Montréal graduate has recently accepted the role of Senior Vice President of Operations for Sika Canada. In addition to his Chemical Engineer education as well as an EMBA, Eric has several years of experience in the optimization and management of operations in different plants across Canada.

Eric is excited about the position and the company, which has been grown significantly recently, both worldwide, but more particularly in Canada.  The company doubled in size in Canada with the King Materials acquisition, which was completed last April.  In his role, he reports directly to the President of Sika Canada and he is responsible for all the operations at Sika’s nine Canadian sites, including  manufacturing facilities, distribution centres, procurement, engineering, H&S and environmental.

Eric’s background as a chemical engineer with several years of experience optimizing and managing operations in different plants across Canada gives him a great foundation for this role.  In addition, he looks forward to applying his learnings from the EMBA program, especially with respect to the impact of culture on mergers and acquisitions. One of the biggest challenges he is facing at the moment relates to the integration of King Materials into Sika.
