Pierre Lemieux, a 2019 McGill-HEC Montreal EMBA alumnus, joined Innovation Canada’s Accelerated Growth Service as Senior Innovation Advisor. Since October, he has been promoted as A/Regional Deputy Director, Quebec.
After 14 years in logistics and operations at Radio-Canada, Pierre made the leap to a career focused on innovation and he says he as the EMBA to thank for this:
“My new role within Innovation Canada is the result of the journey undertaken during the EMBA. It was during the module on innovation, the Catalytic Mindset, with Professor Johanne Brunet, that it really hit me. Innovation had always been important to me, it’s in my values and it’s my mission. It is thanks to the EMBA learnings that I felt well equipped to better understand all the strategic issues and the contexts in which entrepreneurs and companies who really want to innovate evolve.”
