I’m looking forward to the upcoming opportunities to raise awareness impactfully at the leadership levels and strategically across the Sobey’s organization. The EMBA guided me to expand my boundaries through providing tools and seminal experiences including regular reflections that helped me to ultimately raise my confidence in harnessing an endless array of possibilities to create constellations for navigating this transformative era. I sincerely honor my EMBA journey and treasure my EMBA alumni family.

Kakwiranó:ron Cook, a 2019 EMBA McGill-HEC Montréal graduate and recipient of the McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA Indigenous Manager Scholarship, recently joined Sobeys as DE&I Manager, Indigenous Community & Relations .

In my new role, I will play a key role at Sobeys in developing strategies that support their Diversity Equity & Inclusion and Community Investment initiatives while championing, driving, and implementing organizational change on a path towards Reconciliation and a safe and inclusive community for Indigenous groups.
