Connor Quinn, a McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA 2022 graduate, recently joined the board of Hear Entendre Quebec – the only non-profit registered charity serving the anglophone community affected by hearing loss in Québec.

Connor had been a member and volunteer at Hear Entendre Quebec since May 2021 and sat on the finance committee for 18 months before being elected to the board as treasurer in December of 2022.

With a personal goal to improve access and raise awareness for those with hearing loss, Connor is a passionate advocate for the cause. As someone who wears hearing aids, Connor is also an healthcare executive with experience in strategy, sales, health retail optimization, mergers and acquisitions. As such, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise from the hearing healthcare industry to Hear Entendre Quebec.

“After being inspired by the McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA Collaboration Mindset, I decided to start volunteering for Hear Entendre Quebec, a wonderful organization that has a mission very close to my heart. Since joining the Board of Directors, not only am I using learnings that drive the power of collaboration, but I’m also putting in practice teachings from the Reflective Mindset, the Tools for Success module, The Value Creation Mindset, and The Analytic mindset. The comprehensiveness of the program has been fruitful.”

Hear Entendre Québec’s mission is to improve the wellbeing of those affected by hearing loss and to help prevent hearing loss in future generations. Our vision is a community where we can hear, be heard and thrive.
