François Jacques-Cantin, a current McGill-HEC Montréal EMBA participant, has been promoted to Vice President of Sales, Eastern Canada for Sysco Canada Inc.

Sysco Canada is a global leader in selling, marketing and distributing food and non-food products to restaurants, healthcare and educational facilities, lodging establishments and other customers around the world.

In his new role, François will be responsible for sales and strategy for all local chains, streets business and retail. This new function also includes the responsabilities of the region strategy, customer experience, business ressources, marketing and sales teams.

“The program helps me change the way I gain market share. Previously, I mainly worked on “new business”. Now I’m working on retention and penetration (Xsale, upscales). In addition, the tools acquired in the program allow me to have a more transversal approach which allows me to push a maximum of levers and thus create value for our customers and for my organization. “
