“Thanks to the EMBA, I was able to reach my full potential. I am very grateful to the exceptional EMBA team for providing me with the necessary tools and increasing my courage to find a meaningful professional project. At ÉAU, I participate in a passionate business project that will allow communities to move towards food self-sufficiency while having a minimal environmental impact.”

Kim Zakaïb, a McGill-HEC Montréal 2017 alumna, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of ÉAU (Écosystèmes Alimentaires Urbains : Urban Food Ecosystems).

ÉAU is a Quebec company specializing in aquaponics, an integrated agri-food production technique. The company develops commercial aquaponic farms that produce fresh, healthy, local food – vegetables, fruits and fish – all year round, regardless of weather conditions.

Kim will bring a strategic vision and strong leadership experience to this company.

“I am absolutely delighted to join this dynamic team whose essential mission is to increase food self-sufficiency and contribute to the transition to agriculture with low environmental impact. I am convinced that our team, with its passion and commitment, can make a difference in the field of agriculture and food. »
